The accounts of the ancient hanging gardens (one of the seven wonders of the world) have described the structure for a stair. The Greek geographer Strabo, described the love, the garden consists of raised terraces skipped over the other and resting on the pillars cubic-trained. They are hollow and filled with earth to allow trees to a greater size to be planted. The pillars, deposits of safes, and terraces are made with brick and asphalt cooked with the oven.

Slaves were used to push water to the top after an ancient method of irrigation. Naturally there must be exploitative labor hard to maintain one of the seven wonders of the world. The gardens have not really hung up on the roof using ropes or strings. But the name of the direction we set it on top of the roof. Some accounts said that the gardens are 400 by 400 feet and 80 feet complement.

Historians of old Greek, Strabo and Philo, we gave a description of the hanging gardens of Babylon:

Garden is quadrangular, and each side is plethra it four a long time. It consists of deposits of safes that are arched on cube-like foundations checkered. The elevation of the highest terrace-roofs is made to pair. the stairs.

Hanging garden has plants cultivated above the level of the earth and tree roots are included in a higher deck than in the earth. The entire mass is constant on the stone columns. Currents of water emerging from elevated sources operate at the bottom of the inclined channels. This water irrigates the whole garden saturating the roots of plants moist and now the entire sector. Consequently, the grass is a permanently green and the leaves of trees grow firmly attached to flexible branches. It is a work of art of royal luxury and its more galling that the work culture is suspended above the heads of spectators.

The ancient city of Babylon, under King Nebuchadnezzar II, must have been a wonder to the traveler with the 'eyes of S. in addition to its size, wrote Herodotus, a historian in 450 BC, Babylon in the splendor than any city in the known world.

Herodotus claimed the outer walls were 56 miles long, 80 feet deep and 320 feet complementary. Asse'avec far indicates it possible to make a reservoir of the four-horse to turn. The interior walls were not as thick as a first, but very slightly less. Inside the walls were fortresses and temples containing immense statues of solid gold. The increase over the city was the famous Tower of Babel, a temple with the god Marduk, that seemed to reach the heavens.
